ABOUT

We bring together a unique set of skills with expertise in both graphic and exhibit design.

Exhibit Design
Our team members have backgrounds in Museum Studies and Biology, a keen understanding of museum practices, and over 20 years of exhibit design experience. Our natural history content development and design is particularly extensive, and we can call on a network of additional professionals to contribute to and review all other subject areas. Our biggest asset is our steadfast desire to create a product that attracts and engages all visitors so that they leave every exhibit with a deeper understanding of the content and a greater interest in the subject matter.

Graphic Design
Bringing top-level graphic design to both corporate and non-profits alike, DHDG discovers creative solutions for every design question. From a simple brochure, to logo development, to the design and implementation of entire marketing plans, we look forward to working with your organization to develop comprehensive, strategic, customer-focused marketing resources.

Deborah
A native Californian, Deborah moved to New York City to complete her master’s thesis in one of the world’s top museums (the American Museum of Natural History) and along the way became Marketing Manager for a top Corporate Identity firm. A move to the South a few years later brought her back to the world of museums, but this time having learned valuable lessons in branding and design. Deborah now has over 20 years of exhibit and graphic design experience. Many of those years were spent at Georgia Southern University, but with the growth of her freelance business it was time for Deborah Harvey Design Group (DHDG) to form. With the development of DHDG she has been working with her husband, biologist Dr. Alan Harvey, on exhibit projects, providing a level of original professional content development most small exhibit design companies can’t otherwise afford—and with her commercial and non-profit graphic design clients she can delve into the world of branding, logos, brand architecture, collateral systems and indulge in her love of fonts!
